"From the welcome at checkin to our departure a week later this was a blissful experience. Food was superb, aprés ski facilities extensive, saunas, large pool enabling lap swimming, gym, steam room, infra red cabin, rooms & beds comfortable, excellent design in all aspects. Directly opposite Eggalm gondola, next to bus stop connecting to other ski areas within 15 minutes, including Hintertux glacier skiing at 3200 meters. "The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities."

"Up to now, after much travel, my favourite hotel is Coul House near Inverness. The Neue Post joins it at the top of my list. It is an elegant, wonderfully designed building..Two conjoined in fact. "My only complaint was that there was not a mini refrigerator in the room. I had bought some expensive cheese in Rome and was unable to keep it due to this. Wonderful staff and I like that they hire mentally challenged people to help with the kitchen. "
