"This house is a gem! We loved our time and were sad to leave. The location is spectacular: a quiet neighborhood, beautiful view, within walking distance of a grocery store, bank, bakery, and restaurants. It is in a central location for hiking, swimming, etc. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, and a kitchen with very possible thing you could ever need. We would give 15 stars if we could! Highly recommends staying here."

An der Balkontür hat leider das Fenster-Rollo gefehlt. Mit dem Auto waren es nur ca. 15 Minuten zum machen Einkaufsladen, auch zum Feldberg waren es nur ca. 15 Min. Autofahrt. "

"Charmingly appointed studio uphill from town of Lenzkirch in Southern Black Forest. Private balcony with nice views was perfect for breakfast and sitting in the evening. The only slightly minor initial inconvenience was having to get the key at a different location. Owners Christine & Gunther were very easy to communicate with and provided many local suggestions via the rental guidelines which they kindly translated into English before our arrival. :) ‘Loved our stay in the Black Forest!!"

"Very clean, great communication with the host. Very well-equipped apartment with good washing machine in basement. Beautiful views over the valley. We enjoyed watching the cows coming and going for milking. Good places nearby to eat. Lots to do in the area for all ages. You can be as active as you like, or rest and enjoy the scenery. Tip: check sleeping arrangements. Our 2 teenager boys were to sleep in a double bed. We took one mattress out and put it on top of a couch, which was fine."

The kitchen is small and the bedroom very tight but all very serviceable. Host helpful and friendly. Organised passes for us, but not on site. "This is a perfect holiday location....the apartment has everything you need & was spotlessly clean. Gengenbach is probably the prettiest town we saw in the Black Forest & a fantastic base to explore the region. We stayed 11 nights & used the train on the Konus card scheme every day bar 1.....great for taking the stress away & having a German beer or 2! Anja was fantastic in welcoming us & giving lots of tips on where to eat etc....she was always at the end of the phone if we had a question....
