"This is an old house that has been renovated and it's so well done! The downstairs is unique and quirky and we loved it. The kitchen has everything you could need. The downstairs bedroom and attached bath/laundry room was perfect for my sister-in-law. (she has trouble navigating stairs) So....for those "seniors" out there I'd like to point out that since this is an old house, the stairs are original and very narrow and steep. All the upstairs bedrooms have double beds so my husband and I slept in separate bedrooms. The bathroom upstairs has no shower BUT that tub is luxury! Only a few changes would make the upstairs a "10" and I have communicated these things with the owner and was assured she would take care of these. (rods/hangers in the closets, doorknobs on doors, hooks & mirrors in bedrooms) All in all I would definitely recommend staying here :)"

"This is a wonderful cabin in a secluded and quiet spot. The hosts were wonderful, responsive and helpful throughout the process. The cabin was set up with Roku TV and games and puzzles. Beds were comfortable. The overall experience was relaxing and perfect for some time away."

"Our family stayed during the 2024 Eclipse, and we enjoyed an amazing experience in a beautiful location! Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. It was actually a bigger space than it looked like in the photos online. Cons: The plumbing is a little funky - the sink and downstairs toilet gurgles when you flush the upstairs toilet. The downstairs toilet was not flushing properly so we didn't use it much. I told the agent it wasn't an urgent issue and we didn't stay long enough to need a fix. There was an RO system for drinking water but it was not turned on (and you can tell it hadn't been turned on in awhile). The information binder was buried in the cabinet and when we found it halfway through our stay it said not to drink the well water - but oh well, we already were! There were some conflicting check-out instructions, like whether or not to strip the beds. The cleaners did a great job cleaning after the previous renters, but you could tell the place could use a real deep cleaning (for example, the heater vents were pretty filthy and would blow dust out when the heat kicked on). Overall these were somewhat minor annoyances for us, so we were still satisfied with the overall experience. I would still recommend this as a comfortable, lakeside cabin to enjoy a family vacation!"
