"The hotel room was nice. There was an iron and an ironing board but no hair dryer. Which seemed odd to me as I would think a hair dryer is used more than an ironing board. The beds were comfy, the place was clean and the room had blackout curtains, which was very appreciated. There were very few plug sockets though. No on site parking but there's a parking place across the road that does 24hr parking for £14 a day or £11 a day with discount provided by the hotel."

"Scotty in the restaurant was very welcoming and made our arrival (at 9am, after disembarking our cruise ship) go smoothly. The lady at the front desk happily checked our bags till the room was ready. We stayed there the night before the cruise started (11th-12th) and were very happy to stay the night after as well (26th-27th)."

"Been to this hotel a few times now and always enjoyed my stays. Quiet, well maintained and good breakfasts; not to mention the Spa facilities in the basement. Nice pool, steam-room and jacuzzi. Breakfasts can be manic early on, so unless its essential, a later sitting proves good. Rooms are large and bathrooms are large and modern too. Recommend"

"I arrived after a week hiking and wanted a lovely place to both rest up and do a little work - this was recommended by an Uber driver and they got it just right. It’s in a great location in quayside - beautiful views of the river and millennial bridge, and it’s an easy walk to both restaurants and cool landmarks (cathedrals, castle, Lit & Phil.) "The hotel suited my needs in that it was near to where i needed to be to conduct the business I was in the area for. The food was rather limited in the restaurant and bar and service at times was very slow. The hotel was clean in all the public areas and in the room. Unfortunately the rooms require some upgrades. Parking spaces are very limited considering the hotel has 200 rooms and 37 parking spaces and what I thought was an excessive charge of £8.50 per 24 hours."

"Stayed here in May on a Thursday night. Booked a room in the main hotel, after seeing reviews that some people ended up in a different building. There was a bit of faff about parking (not enough spaces for all the guests, so I had to be blocked in) but aside from that I thought it was a great room for a low price. The room was very clean, spacious and comfortable, with modern fittings. It was quiet and had a great night's sleep! Definitely exceeded my expectations."

"The most astounding aspect was the bundles of energy who dealt with welcoming me to breakfast. So positive - it was impossible not to smile. The breakfast itself was good.
