Royal Station Hotel

3.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very good, (1545)
"Built in the 1850s, this hotel is an excellent choice for enthusiasts of the Victorian era. I stayed in a standard room, which, while lacking any particularly special features, was perfectly functional and well-maintained. The receptionist at check-in was exceptionally welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The English breakfast buffet in the morning was superb, offering a delightful selection of traditional fare. However, the options for those preferring a continental breakfast were somewhat...

Staybridge Suites Newcastle by IHG

4.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (904)
"Excellent Hotel, and would definitely book again, especially for the price. Booked 2 rooms and the only negative point would be that due to the rooms having a small kitchen area one of the rooms still had a very strong smell of curry lingering in the room from the previous occupant. This smell lingered throughout my stay."

Holiday Inn Express Newcastle Gateshead

3.0 star property
9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (1002)
"The location was ok, close to the Metro Centre & other shopping options. The room was a bit tired looking and SO hot, the options are having the heater on or off, theres no thermostat to adjust the room temperature. The bed was a double which was rather cosy! Probably my fault for not checking that on booking. Breakfast is included, it was ok. The hash browns were a bit soggy & the bacon was underwhelming. Staff at breakfast seemed more intent on loudly discussing their lives in the kitchen...
