"I was. Pleasantly surprised. This is an older motel that has been renovated. They've done a very nice job, The lobby is gorgeous.The rooms are good. Rooms are a nice size with. Basic basic needs met. Everything worked. And was spotless. The bed was comfortable although the bedding was lacking. There was only a top sheet and a synthetic quilted bedspread four covers. "The hotel and location are great. I did not like there was valet parking only at $30 per day, but if you were parking for beach usage you paid $15 per day. I don't think it's fair for hotels to charge their guests for parking. If you want to use the valet, by all means, do so, but tip them handsomely. This should be an option, not a part of the hotel experience."

"We stopped for a couple of nights after the Browns win and immediately had a pleasant experience. The front desk was quick, efficient, and friendly. We had a room w/an oceanfront unit w/a balcony. The room was nice with plenty of outlets and lighting throughout. The sofa bed was a comfortable place to sit and watch TV. The desk was a nice size to get work done.
