"Hotel was an excellent standard for this type of resort hotel and in low season very good value, The buffet breakfasts, included in room rate, had many options and were equally good value, the staff were friendly at all times, and unlike previous hotels I'd tried the rooms had comfortable, cushioned furniture and a desk. Minor negatives were the smell of drains in the bathroom, and the beach alongside the hotel which was narrow and shelved steeply into the Bali/Lombok strait."

Rooms were light and airy and well equipped for tea and coffee etc. restaurants were great and good value and the quality was awesome. The staff are excellent and went out of their way to be helpful. "We got to stay in the Oceanview Family Bungalow and had a great time. The bungalow is MASSIVE - so much room, and as good as the resort pool was, having the small private pool was an extra luxury (although the decking around it was in disrepair and needs some work) and much used also. The grounds are beautiful and it was amazing walking along the grass next to the coral beach to the restaurant and bar each day. Restaurant was good, but there was also some amazing restaurants very close by that we got to experience also. Bar staff were heaps of fun and made great (and cheap at happy hour!) cocktails, even venturing into suggestions that weren't on the menu. As with a lot of accom in Bali/Lombok, some of the finer maintenance and cleaning was a bit off, however, having been to Bali once before we kind of expect that in every place, and it did not bother us at all. We arrived late in the day after a rather large travel day and were unfortunately woken very early to an 'event' setup in the park right next to our room with full stage and PA (sounded like they were in our room) with the only notice given a note slipped under our door after we had gone to sleep. However, staff and manager were very apologetic and organised a complimentary transfer out for the end of our stay, and some complimentary treatments for the whole family at their onsite Spa which put us straight back into relax mode. Great spot to stay within the walls and chillout, but also fairly easy to go out exploring."
