"Had a wonderful 6 night stay at this lovely, spacious house with plenty of space for our group of 11. The house has amazing gardens with beautiful views and is in a lovely quiet location. We didn't want to drive and used the bus service from the village to go to Lucca, around a 15 mins journey. The host, Fiona, is fantastic and easy to communicate with. She is very helpful and even arranged for someone to come into the villa to cook a meal for the birthday celebration which was just lovely. All...

"Superb. We had a great week in the beautiful villa Alventura. The facilities are excellent, the surrounding countryside is stunning and Anne and Simon couldn’t have been more helpful as hosts. We particularly appreciated both indoor and outdoor kitchens, well equipped, and the pizza oven was well used by us. The bedrooms are spacious and the whole place was clean and well looked after. "We had an amazing two weeks in Tuscany staying at this villa. We spent a lot of time in the pool during the day since the weather was so hot. The villa is very convenient for exploring Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio and other towns in norther Tuscany. Paola and Luca were very responsive and kind. Highly recommended for a family holiday. "Had a wonderful week relaxing here. Air conditioning in the bedrooms a godsend. Beds really comfy. Stunning gardens with lots of places to sunbathe or relax in the shade including a lovely little pool to cool off in. Only 10 mins drive from Montecarlo where there are four or five excellent restaurants. Ideal to explore Florence/Tuscany and the Appenines too. You need a car. "
