"There is the historic part of the hotel and the modern. We accidentally booked the historic side with no elevator and very small rooms. They were very accommodating and switched us to the modern side with elevators. They have a van that will also take you anywhere you wanna go in town."

"Property is in a nice location close to the water, bed was comfortable. This is a house converted to an Inn, as mentioned in other reviews the walls are paper thin & you can hear everything. Had the place been full it would have been terrible. Booked this at least 7 mos ago, every other place we booked that would have changes as far as breakfast or food available messaged me to let me know that, this place did not, We show up no breakfast & not even creamer for coffee. "Hotel Edgewater was a great place to stay right across from Resurrection Bay. We had a room with a view of the bay. We were able to walk across the street one night to watch the Aurora over the bay and mountains. The manager and employees were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Edgewater!!"

"Nice cheap hotel, 5 minute walk to all the city of Seward has to offer. Free coffee, water, and tea available 24/7. Easy access to extra towels, toiletries, and an ice maker. Dirty lamp over the bed, didnt bother me but dirty nontheless"
