The cabin itself is very well stocked with anything you’ll need and has some unusual design features, such as: (1) A custom built Sauna that word very well (2) A separate 12 volt lighting system, which we didn’t need but I assume is there if grid power was lost (3) Lots of exposed EMT conduit instead of more typical electrical design. I assume that the Owner is a skilled tradesman, perhaps INEW or...

"The ocean view was spectacular with teal waters and islands and mountains all around. The cabins are located in a cove, so it is safe for kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, all available for use. They even provided dry suits for us. The cabin was very comfortable and clean. At night, it was very quiet. The staff were very friendly, going beyond to be helpful. One person even helped my son fish and clean the fish for us. He was so nice. "

"We came here to stay for a short trip to Seward for fishing and exploring. Lori was an excellent host that made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us some recommendations for things to do in the town! Cabin with nice with all the amenities we would need. Would definitely stay here again if we were to ever make another trip to Seward! "

Otherwise is was very convenient to Exit Glacier, fishing, and the grocery store and downtown. We were very comfortable there, and even had a black bear sighting in our driveway one morning. Would recommend this cute old cabin."

"There is the historic part of the hotel and the modern. We accidentally booked the historic side with no elevator and very small rooms. They were very accommodating and switched us to the modern side with elevators. They have a van that will also take you anywhere you wanna go in town."

"The place was very clean and nice, and easy to check in. The problem is that you cannot run the heat and the coffee maker at the same time. I could certainly have worked around this inconvenience, if I had known about it. There was no sign on the counter, only a note about it on the 4th page of the house manual - past the page about a local gym. When I got to the page I did not read further. I got up at 3:00 am, took a shower, and turned on the coffee pot and blew the breaker to the entire place. I texted, but got no response. By 6:00 am it was cold and dark - so with wet hair I left to find some place to get ready for work. I was very disappointed that I was not made aware of this situation. "

"Hotel Edgewater was a great place to stay right across from Resurrection Bay. We had a room with a view of the bay. We were able to walk across the street one night to watch the Aurora over the bay and mountains. The manager and employees were super nice and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Edgewater!!"

Worth the steps!

"You do have to wrestle your suitcase up quite a few outside steps but there is plenty of room. It is worth the view from the dining area where a delightful breakfast was served. It is a cute, quaint place full of character. The hostesses was delightful. She was friendly and fun to visit."
