"the hotel was deserted, no staff, the bar was shut, no entertainment, no breakfast,no evening meal if I wanted to book one,so all in all new year ruined. the phoned me and said the wanted to check my bank details because they were giving me a small refund but then took the full amount and no refund. if this is how they run an hotel and treat there guests then beware and avoid "

"Owners have done a beautiful work on renovating the place, chick style with lovely furniture in the lobby, dining area, corridors and the garden, loved it. Premises have got a small bar/lounge service with a good range of non-alcoholic proper drinks (pop-in even if you are staying in the surrounding places). Friendly staff. I was excited about the Sauna (being a Finn), and first a bit disappointed as it was a infrared Sauna - but it turned to be a positive experience, despite missing a stove to splash water on ;). I enjoyed the quietness and the seafront is just a short walk away. Breakfast: traditional, served to the table, small buffet with fresh veggies, juices and serials quite simple but fills your belly. Our room was small (but hey, we only slept there), it did not have air conditioner, so that was a bit of a minus but we survived with the table fan. Give it a go, enjoy your stay ☀️"

"What can I add that’s not already been mentioned, Andy and Jo are a wonderful couple and fabulous hosts, Andy greeted me in the car park and Jo promptly took my bags to my room while Andy showed me the facilities and informed me of local attractions etc. They are very passionate about their business and this clearly shows with their enthusiasm and fantastic service."

"We had a great time as a family. The staffing was very kind and helpful. The location is beautiful, with convenient access to the beach via the Chine and there are lots of indoor and outdoor activities for the kids to do. "

"It was amazing and just the right place I needed. Quiet, neat, adventurous, respectful staff. If you are looking for somewhere you can feel away from noise and just be in a serene atmosphere then this is the perfect place. It’s definitely worth your money and luckily the room prices are fair."

Room With A View - Welcoming Staff

"Welcoming, hard working and professional staff. W enjoyed a sea view room with a balcony. We were able to check in early and shown to the room. Local maps, guides and bus time tables were available. The bathroom was tiled top to toe and the shower excellent. This is a good pub with accommodation above and good pub food. It is not The Ritz, nor does it pretend to be and offers a great location and reasonable prices. The breakfast was substantial, although we would have preferred a few lighter offerings such as yoghurt and fruit and/or cereals, but that is just our personal taste. Booking on the Hotels.Com site was a little confusing. The booking form had an Amex symbol and accepted the transaction. We then got a bounce back saying the payment had failed. On checking, they do not accept Amex. Not a problem, but it would have been nice to have been told this up front, so we could have used another card straight away. Maybe Hotels.Com could amend this."

"Everything was smooth, and service above and beyond. I did not personally love the layout of the rooms especially in terms of plugs, as these could be difficult to find (even behind someone's head on the bed headboard), however this is a very tiny thing and generally speaking everything went well and was easy. Breakfast was delicious and service attentive. Thank you"
