"My daughter lives and works an hour away from Tawonga South and was keen to explore the local area. I travelled from Newcastle, NSW, and we had a fantastic time walking around the local sights and enjoyed a drive to Bright, Porepunkah and Mt Buffalo chalet - an amazing part of the world with so much to see and do. Paul and Jacqui were warm and welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed staying their their gorgeous little loft apartment. The deck and large leafy yard were so relaxing and inviting and the apartment was fresh and clean and met all our needs. Thankyou so much."

"We've been visiting the area for 40 years now and returned for a weekend of kayaking on the Mitta. Communication with Joanne was outstanding and everything was as expected or better. It's a great location, just a short walk from the Golden Age but facing towards the West with big views of the countryside. We particularly appreciated sitting out around the fire pit. A fantastic weekend!"

"We arrived at the property with instructions that the key would be in the letterbox. The property appeared to be derelict and abandoned. Waist high grass, paint peeling on the house, bent and broken fence. There was no key on the letterbox, just a bunch of final notice letters half eaten by snails. Phone number for owner was “unavailable”. Contacted Stayz, we are still awaiting a refund. Locals have since said that they would never recommend this property to anyone and after this experience, neither will we."

"Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ski storage/drying room was much appreciated. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend was the onsite restaurant - tried it once for breakfast and found the portion sizes to be small for the high price. Dining options were somewhat limited in town for a place with “dinner” in its name but the food at the two local pubs was decent. Easy access to Hotham with shuttles running hourly. "
