Phone number for owner was “unavailable”. Contacted Stayz, we are still awaiting a refund. Locals have since said that they would never recommend this property to anyone and after this experience,...

"We've been visiting the area for 40 years now and returned for a weekend of kayaking on the Mitta. Communication with Joanne was outstanding and everything was as expected or better. It's a great location, just a short walk from the Golden Age but facing towards the West with big views of the countryside. We particularly appreciated sitting out around the fire pit. A family of mice were present in the kitchen area and had left their mark in drawers, cupboards and a couch. Put a dampener on the stay and we were not able to have this issue resolved with clean bedding. Just an offer of some mouse bait to place around the property."

"Hi,Just like to say we enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin.The board games were great and provided some entertainment even for our older sons.Being a builder in the Albury Wodonga region I just thought I'd mention some items that need maintenance and improving.Both lights in lounge room need replacing.Some window winders don't work and need replacing.Some flyscreens need fixing, large holes as the flyscreen has separated from the frame. "We've been visiting the area for 40 years now and returned for a weekend of kayaking on the Mitta. Communication with Joanne was outstanding and everything was as expected or better. It's a great location, just a short walk from the Golden Age but facing towards the West with big views of the countryside. We particularly appreciated sitting out around the fire pit. "Overall a wonderful stay in a beautiful location. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ski storage/drying room was much appreciated. The only thing I wouldn’t recommend was the onsite restaurant - tried it once for breakfast and found the portion sizes to be small for the high price. Dining options were somewhat limited in town for a place with “dinner” in its name but the food at the two local pubs was decent. Easy access to Hotham with shuttles running hourly. "
