"The rooms are above the back of the pub - you enter via the stairs from the car park. Parking is. It provided by the pub-it’s by the council and watch out - if you park overnight, you have to be out of the car park by 8 AM. Otherwise you will get a fine! The room was small, but clean and well presented. "

"Ideal location for what we wanted. Lovely clean hotel, recently renovated. Had just reopened when we visited, so a few teething issues, ran out of a lot of drinks, not enough breakfasts for people that had reserved a breakfast. Hotel was sold out due to Chelmsford part in the park. Overall lovely stay, some nice restaurants and bars,cafes close by."
