"We stayed in the Lakeview building which is across the street from the main building. It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really nice with the dining room having a nice view of Cayuga Lake. What we really liked was the proximity to Taughannock Falls. We walked from the hotel directly to the trails leading to the Falls. You can also walk across the street to visit the park along the lake which has swimming, kayaks, etc. "

"We stayed at Jefferson room for two nights. Although this room is facing the busy Main Street, we slept soundly and did not hear anything. We were impressed with the roominess of our room. The bathroom was also spacious. I would recommend putting a bar to hang on to when showering for safety. We love the comfort and convenience of this hotel. It is walkable to restaurants and Watkins Glen State Park."

"Loved the place and the remoteness. The water pump wasn't working, but a solution was promptly provided. It wasn't the best situation, but it worked. Also, the second bed appeared to be a mattress pad behind the main bed. We ended up just sharing the bed for the duration of the stay. Would return, but would love those issues/inaccuracies to be fixed."
