"Wonderful hotel in a wonderful town. We stayed in three other "nice" hotels on our Portugal trip, and this one was so much better than the rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and made you feel like a "Guest" not just a number. Clean and beautifully decorated with everything prepared to a very high level. Lovely bar with piano player every night. We can't wait to stay there again!"

"7 minute walk from the train station, sort of midpoint between the station and the canal area, right by the shopping mall. Which makes this location walkable. Plenty of bars, cafes and eateries near by although I was there on Christmas eve and lest things were shutting down I got a takeout from the food court in the mall. Shower- nice and hot, good pressure. Noise- given my room faced the main street the insulation was surprisingly good. I did hear some street noise but mostly sound proof...

En cambio el olor de la recepción era terrible, como a tubería , llegaba casi hasta las habitaciones. "Beautiful place surrounded by unique nature and history. The adjacent historical porcelain factory and related buildings, like the church, are preserved exquisitely and well worth a visit. The setting on the river makes for a serene and relaxing stay. The breakfast buffet has quite a good selection of Portuguese delicacies. "

"Very walkable, convenience store close-by. Canal & boats about 10-15 min easy walk. Reakfasr is excellent. Comfortable room-we didn’t have much of a view but didn’t matter as in room to allow. Comfortable bed, crisp linens. Very enjoyable stay Be certain to take one of the boat rides, we did it @ sunset & it was unique. Planned to do a walking tour in am but person cancelled @ last minute."

Fabulous place!

"This villa was perfect for our needs. Two families of 8 people with teenage and adult daughters of 15, 15, 17 and 19 years. An amazing pool to cool down in that is a reasonable size for games, yet heated at the right temperature for the cooler, cloudier mornings. We hope the next group enjoy the inflatables we left as much as we did! The 3 bikes were handy for quicker trips to the supermarkets taking a left from the villa's main road and to see the flamingos taking a right on the main road. Lots of bars and restaurants located in a near enough walk as we did not use a car for the week. We enjoyed the live music in the main square on the Saturday night as well as in the beach bar. Taxi's from the airport were easy to organise prior to our departure and we would also recommend a few nights in Porto for a city experience. The villa was well equipped with different spaces. We cooked in the villa most days. We would highly recommend this villa for those looking for a very Portuguese experience in a relaxing, yet accessible environment."
