"The gentleman who checked me in was wonderful…I wish I got his name but he was welcoming and super friendly. When I walked into the unit, the TV was on and it sounded like someone else was there…which startled me. There was a door missing from the bathroom vanity, there was trash in the kitchen disposal, no hangers in the closet and scuff marks on all of the bedroom walls and dresser. I’ve stayed at other Global Suites before but this one could definitely use a little TLC. "

However, several appliances (toaster was there but the parts were missing, washer making banging sounds during use,etc.) were broken and/or unusable, walls and furniture looked worn and in many cases dirty - we found stains on the sofa cushions (unclear whether they had been cleaned) + stains on the bedding which were only partially cleaned- and it was difficult to get anyone to respond to concerns. "Everything we needed for the 3 day weekend we spent in DC. Perfect size for 4 people to stay, hang out, and sleep. Easy to find and central to a lot of really fun restaurants. One thing- I will point out to any venue that does this because it’s something you don’t always have, and that’s easy to reach outlets in the bedrooms! "We so enjoyed our stay! They neighborhood was just close enough to walk to anything we needed and the garden in the back was perfect for resting in after a long day.
