"Check in was easy and we were allowed to check in slightly early which was welcome. Our room was on the third floor in what appeared to be an old wing. I liked it, was quaint. However, lacked a little finesse in our room. A light was out in the bathroom, the shower door encroached on the showering space due to damage and the sink had no plug guard. Some poor person before us had lost their toothbrush down the sink hole! The spa area was great at an extra cost. All in all good location and...

"The Viking boat was lovely, the room was clean, easy check-in, we were late due to the flight being delayed, had to call the phone, which was on reception to get our key card, which was no issue. "Very simple accommodation, check in restricted to 3-5pm (after which it closes) and zero WiFi signal. Bathroom was very basic and we had to put the sheets on ourselves. At the end of the stay they had to be removed, everything washed up and rubbish taken away. I'm not against this concept, but not for 700kr a night, out of season. This also wasn't made obvious when booking. For an extra 200-300kr you can stay in a decent hotel, including breakfast which made this very poor value in comparison....

"Easy walking distance from the train station, located in a quieter, more rural part of town but with many quaint restaurants and grocery stores still nearby for accessibility. The hotel from the outside looks like an apartment but rooms were clean, bed was very comfortable and bonus there is a bathtub which you don't come by too often. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is one of the best I've had. This hotel was a gem of a find. "
