"This is a convenient and well-appointed place to stop along the Great Ocean Road. It's a short, easy walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with supplies that many other hotels skimp on these days, such as a toaster, dishes, tea and coffee, and individual shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in biodegradable packaging. "The property is on Great Ocean Road in the heart of the Lorne beachfront. It has easy access to restaurants, shopping, and the ocean. Surprisingly, it is quiet after 9:30 p.m. in January—a very family-friendly area. The staff at the motel were very friendly. The room was spacious, with added touches of silverware and real wine glasses. The finishings were a little tired but it did not detract from the comfort of our stay. "

"Good location, clean and comfy accommodation. Compared to other local accommodation this is good value for money. The only gripe is the rooms are not very well sound proofed, you can clearly hear the guests in the adjacent rooms. Didn't stop me sleeping once I'd asked them to be quiet."

"This place isn't the Hilton BUT it is a great, honest, clean and convenient place for anyone looking to stay. The staff left you alone but were available if needed, the location is amazing, the noise is minimal and the rooms are comfortable and homely. We would happily stay here again if we return to Lorne.
