"Definitely one of the best hostel I've stayed in. If you're travelling to Tromsø solo or as a couple and youre on a budget this place is perfect. My room was situated with one bunk so youre only sharing with one other and the view overlooked the city. Well equipped living area and kitchen which also overlooks the city. Even when the power cut the host was across in 5 mins to fix it. The only issue I faced was on my final night i was sharing with a different guest to the previous nights and...

"This is a beautiful hotel with modern rooms, coffee makers, and made service every day. To take advantage of the wonderful spa while you were there. I think the price is a little high, but it’s definitely worth it. My only observation negative is that it is a 1/2 to 1 mile walk to the shopping and restaurant areas. This may not sound far, but when it’s the dead of winter and dark outside, it is a consideration. Taxis in this city or quite expensive."

"We had stayed at the comfort express previously in Tromso but the room was pretty small so we decided to try a more expensive hotel. Enter Amelia was not a lot more expensive but it was smaller and older than the Comfort Express. They offered parking but then I found out it was $35 night and at another property which should be in the details before you book. Loved the breakfast cake and coffee in the afternoon and the waffles at night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. "
