" Beautiful hotel, all rooms are facing the coast. Swimming pool with warm sea water is excellent. Parking is little bit outside of the hotel and might not have enough space. Walking distance to both Portoroz and Piran. The only complaint is no air conditioning in October. It is still warm during the day. Open windows work at night. "

"We had a really great stay in Forgotten Garden Apartments. We liked the proximity of the sea shore, however quite a steep street led there. But it was good for some physical training, especially when you go up with a stroller. The apartment was clean, nice, but a bit small - two bedrooms accommodated only the beds. "The hotel was located outside of the main tourist area but was a very easy walk from it. The apartment living space was large but the kitchen was small if one had the intention to actually cook in it. However for coffee, use of a refrigerator and a light breakfast, it was fine. I appreciated the washer at this point on our trip and it worked well. Parking was about a 10 minute walk away on mostly flat ground. The Pri Mari restaurant next door was very good. "

"Be careful where you park. Directions are not in English. I parked in a lot, received an 80 euros fine and still had to pay for the time spent in the lot. Had I known ot was restrictive parking there, I would not have parked there. Hauling luggage from the parking area is a chore"

Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. Very clean Nice views over the salt flats and (a bit more distant) the sea, if you book a sea view room About 10 minutes out of Piran Great breakfast, they even had English tea and Earl Grey tea, the first hotel in a week to have those.
