Our group absolutely loved the evening times bbq and around the outdoor fire pit. Kids had a great time together and can't stop telling stories about it. Such a nice holiday, thank you so much."

"Lovely place to stay- peaceful and safe. Easy parking, wifi in an otherwise township 'dead zone'. Close to everything with lovely friendly host and staff. Dinners available and a neat BBQ area. Just a note: Go prepared with your own water and bbq supplies as the closest towns are both over an hour away and the small village shop isnt really that well stocked."

"We loved our stay on the Red Rattler, it is so unique and has everything you could need. The enclosed fully fenced / gated verandah was amazing for our little one to safely wonder around. It was comfortable and cosy. We will definitely be back one day. Well done to the owners on creating such a unique place to stay. "

"Historic hotel with 5 fireplaces, superb food, timber bar and just generally a nice family feel, Electric blankets are very warm, sheets crisp and towels very white. Simple breakfast included with nice balconies and north side garden. Went for a short 5 min walk and saw ten kangaroos, Took a great photo of the hotel from the front.but no way to share here. Hope the front balcony damagefrom the wayward car is fixed soon. Finally, we stayed at Royal Capertee on our way to visit the oil shale works and we’re not disappointed with the 2 hour tour."

"We stayed at the River Cabin at Tanwarra Lodge with the family. It's the perfect location to take in the natural beauty of the area, with the sound of the Turon River as the backdrop. Peter was a fantastic host, very accommodating. The property was exactly as advertised, warm and cosy for those chilly June nights. Highly recommended and we will be back for sure."

Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the serenity and of the accommodations to its fullest. i would love to go back and be able to enjoy the facilities that are provided.
