"The bathroom lacked a safety rail in the shower, which I consider dangerous because I am over 70 years old. In addition, the electric water heater had a cord which was so short that it could not reach the electrical outlet in the kitchen area. "Room was as advertised and exactly what we needed in a central location. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, I came down and asked for 2 more pillows which was no problem. Only issue to be aware of is parking, which is no fault of the hotel however it is incredibly expensive to park in the multi-story across the road. We paid 570NOK for 20 hours. "

"Lovely modern clean hotel. 10 - 15 minute walk from Oslo Sentral Station. 5 minute walk form Opera House and the sea. Very friendly check-in, check-out, restaurant and breakfast dining staff. Good breakfast selection. Nice breakfast siting area - relaxing and well decorated. My room was a good size for one person and very clean. I was there for two nites. They have a sign to show that you do not need a room clean every day, which I used - a very good idea. This was my third stay in this hotel this year - so it must be good if I have returne!"

"Thon hotel opera is in walking distance from most tourist attractions or you can catch an uber if you don’t want to walk. This hotel did not disappoint. Heated floors in the bathroom, bathtubs, toiletries,and a minibar are all available depending on the floor plan you get. The breakfast was wonderful, so many options to choose from and very clean establishment. I have no complaints other than Oslo was very pricey."
