"TL;DR: A little dated given the age of the building, otherwise good. Fantastic gym and very well equiped; perhaps the best I’ve seen in a hotel. Think gym, but smaller (obviously) and there’s only one of each machine with body parts combined on one equipment to maximise space. Cardio wise, treadmills, Stages indoor trainer, indoor bike, rower, stepper, assault runner… you get the picture; is very nice! "The hotel was OK. We arrived very early morning and were advise that if we wished to check in there would be a fee which was fine but I found the fee a bit steep. When we questioned the fee we were told we would have a free upgrade to compensate the fee. However, my room was not a refurbished room and was very tired and outdated."

"Stayed 3 times now in late 2024, and love the close proximity to SO many things to see & do, all within walking distance. Train is across the road. Shopping & food options aplenty, inexpensive & eveeything you need. Rooms renovated recently, very nice, clean, bed very comfortable More complinentary variety of teas & coffee sachets be great. Pool awesome Staff always very pleasant, friendly & helpful. Renovations didnt affect my stay. "
