"I was a little apprehensive as the property seemed to be a little older. The manager texted me to let me know that they had my room cleaned early and how to pick up my key. She personally met me and was very pleasant as she gave me a thorough orientation of the property. I told her that I was impressed with the reviews for being an older property and she proudly shared the hard work that was put in to get the recognition. After entering the room, I always pull back bedding and inspect bathrooms...

The Hurricane Rodeway is NOT one of those disasters. It was the cheapest room available on Hotels.com, but it was perfectly fine. New paint, newish carpet, recentish-bathroom upgrades. The bed was comfortable, the heater worked, the shower was large with good water pressure and the water was hot. ...
