"We absolutely loved our 9 days here. The host responded quickly to every communication and was very professional and caring about all of our questions. They have everything you will need for an island/beach vaca. We loved having the beach off the balcony, decent/easy snorkeling and perfect turquoise water. It made for the BEST relaxing mornings with coffee and evenings with Cruzan rum. It is a great central location, 5 minutes to Christiansted Boardwalk, and just 30 minutes to either the awest...

"We spent 8 days on island and this was the perfect home base for the week. It's not fancy, but it has updated amenities, it's clean, comfortable, has everything you need, (including beach chairs, umbrella and beach towels) minutes from Christiansted-but away from the crowds. When we had questions we just texted the owner and she responded within minutes. Definitely recommend if you're on a mid-range budget. It's worth every penny..."

"Shannon met us at the condo at checkin and was super helpful and made our stay a great week. Dave was also a great host. The condo is a little dated but beds are super comfy, great AC, washer dryer in unit, nice view from porch and the pool was wonderful. Awesome view from pool. Downtown was 10 minute walk. Bring bug spray the mosqitos were bad early morning and late evenings on porch due to a ton of rain before we arrived. View made up for the bug bites. I would stay here again..."

"The apartment is a little outdated but comfortable and located within walking distance of everything in Christiansted. During my stay a few small things arose, which Michael, the owner, took care of immediately. There was a power outage (common for St. Croix) and it destroyed the router. I needed to work, so I needed the internet. Michael was able to get a new router installed and had me up and running before the day was over. He was an unbelievable host. "Overall we had a nice time. The only thing l would suggest is to have a deep clean of the entire downstairs (kitchen, curtains & furniture included). The location was PERFECT for us. I never touched bases with the property manager. However, the upstairs hosts did such a great job of supplying everything we asked for/needed. All the best to the next guests."

"What I loved most was bc this was a quick 3 night stay from STT to STX, I couldn’t bring much on cape air, what I couldn’t bring, this lovely host surprisingly had all the essentials I needed to make my stay comfortable and had a lovely time on her home island. When our flight got delayed and we got in late, they were still there to greet us and help us find a place to eat. Any questions we had, they were quick to respond. "We loved the Mary Read! It's close enough to downtown Christiansted that you can walk to all the shops and restaurants, but sits outside the main action by a block, so it's quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. We stayed for a week and took advantage of many of the unit's facilities including the onsite laundry and loner equipment for the beach. We would definitely stay here again!"
