"Nice staff and great view of the ocean. Parking was sometimes difficult due to the restaurants. A bit of a rougher area was a short walk away. That area felt safe during the daytime. The Waves always felt like a safe area."

"The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was tropical and welcoming. We could walk everywhere in town. We’d recommend staying there. Only downside was the water in the shower was hooked up backwards and we didn’t know, but it worked out after talking with the friendly staff at the desk "

"Property is on the beach, beautiful courtyard environment, lively entertainment, bar service, a pool and a hottub in the courtyard, access to some water events. Grounds were well maintained. Rooms were clean and maintained daily. Front desk attendant, Delia, was very accommodating with requests. Dining is in the courtyard. Limited meal choices. Meals were a bit pricy."

"This property is old but has a lot of potential. It has a historic feel and is really cool. However, it could use a refresh. It’s loud around there, as there is a club next door. But it’s super convenient and so close to shopping, places to eat and the boardwalk! It’s inexpensive and did the job for a last minute quick trip to the island. "
