Perfect Hotel for a St Ives Visit
After much research, I chose this hotel and couldn’t have been happier.
We previously stayed at the Carbis Bay Hotel, but since the G7 summit, prices there have soared, and the walk or train into town feels inconvenient.
Sea view rooms are a must. We enjoyed stunning sunsets as boats returned to harbour and even spotted dolphins playing in the morning. The in-room binoculars were a brilliant touch.
The hotel combines modern, stylish design with the charm of an older building, featuring winding corridors leading to the spa. The spa is sleek, with a well-sized pool, two excellent saunas, a jacuzzi, and loungers offering stunning bay views. A full range of treatments is available.
The bar and restaurant are creatively decorated and maximise the views. Food and drinks were enjoyable and met expectations.
Things to Know:
• The walk to town is 7–8 minutes downhill and uphill on return via steps or a steep slope.
• Train and bus stations are a 5-minute walk. Valet parking is efficient—use the bays opposite the entrance and give notice when you need your car.
Overall:
I was fully satisfied and will definitely return.
