"If you'll use public transport frequently, Metropole is located conveniently less than 5 min away from Katoomba station and the first/last bus stop to see The Three Sisters or visit the neighbouring Leura. Inside the hotel, I'm transported back in time where the only lift moves very slowly across 3 levels and requires manual door-opening. There are cosy nooks to cuddle up with a book or take their delicious Devonshire tea. The room is spacious tho the bathroom could be a little cold. Service is lovely but you'd need to do without it after 5pm, including keying in a code to let myself in."

"Great stay just needed to stay there atleast 2 days as 1 day not enough. Nice room, gas fire place was awsome to have in room keep us warm, great shower as it has a rain shower head on it. Awsome view from room and plenty of space. It was fun meeting the Alpacas and feeding them. It was good also to meet the horses . Staff was great to talk too very friendly and very committed to you having a great stay. Place was so quiet and relaxing as no kids being noisy as it is a adults only place. Tennis court, games room, pool table. Food was nice what we had. Cant wait to go again."

"It is located right in the centre of Blackheath, where all the cafes, restaurants and specialty stores are located. It also has a very charming old world feel. We really enjoyed it. "

"We had a lovely weekend getaway at Leisure Inn Spires. The accommodation was neat, clean, and well presented. The only downside was that the log effect heater in the room didn't work - would have added nicely to the ambience of being in the mountains in winter. Also the Spa bath in the bathroom was not working in the room we had. Would have been nice to be informed of these when booking, or at least at check in. The location is fantastic, right at the top of Leura Mall. All the shops, cafes and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. "
