"A nicely furnished apartment that was clean and modern with lots of handy items for food preparation. Well located for Katoomba, however there is NO parking - as it is so central, all surrounding parking is for a maximum of one hour every day, which is very inconvenient if you have a car and are travelling as a family. Also lots of little annoying things like flat batteries in TV remotes, no salt and pepper in the shakers provided and I also had to follow up the managers to receive check in...

"We stayed at the coldest time of year and the fireplace kept the whole place warm all night. The beds were very comfortable and the relaxed decor vintage inspired. Enough space for a couple or small family. Main Katoomba shops a 7 min walk away. Approx 12 internal stairs up to apartment with good handrails. We will stay again."

"An extremely comfortable,warm and cosy stay in the chapel. It had everything we needed and on the coldest few days of the year up the mountains, the very efficient central heating kept us so toasty all night. Gorgeous sunrise and sunset views front and back. Thoroughly recommended!"

"Nice apartment and close to beautiful walks and local shops, restaurants and a couple of pubs. We drove from Sydney as we were heading north afterwards but could easily have taken the train, as the property is an easy walk to the station. The property has lots of warm blankets and decent heaters (including a heat pump), but remember to bring warm clothes if you want to enjoy the local area in winter! Excellent host, very communicative and knowledgeable about the area. We really appreciated that...

"Despite a sticky start regarding not dinding t&c's with request for a damage deposit (platform error?) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jilea's, a very quirky self contained space. The weather during our stay fluctuated so the electric blanket and throw were greatly appreciated. Jilea is a super host who couldn't have done more to make our stay the best it could be."

"We were very cold as the heater in accommodation did not work, so once inside needed to rug up in bed. Had I known, I would have brought my own heating like a kerosene heater or something similar. I also would recommend bringing your own camp toilet as the one provided may not have enough space for your needs. Secluded bush ambiance was interrupted by next door neighbours generator as well as trains coming and going as often as every 10mins throughout the night. Next door neighbours are also...
