The alarm in my room went off at 3.00am and I struggled to get back to sleep after because there was absolutely noone around to say whetyher or not it was a false alarm for certain. "Excellent, visited this hotel as in February 9th 1945 my grandfather was outside here with the the 61st Highland Anti Tank Regiment. Great history in the area and the hotel. We did have a little difficulty during dinner with language barrier mixing our main courses and part of our order was not given however we received excellent help for an English speaking waiter and the situtwas rectified."

"Het hotel was pas twee dagen open. Daardoor waren er natuurlijk wat opstartprobleempjes. Zag er allemaal strak en kleurrijk uit. Medewerkers moesten in het restaurant nog wel even wennen. Duurde vrij lang eer ze langs kwamen om te vragen wat we wilde drinken en om de kaart te brengen. De kaart was met opzet erg summier. Kan niet anders zeggen dat de pasta's voortreffelijk waren.
