However a few things to make it better : 1- the oven/microwave didn’t work even after trying a few times. It needs a master in engineering to make it work. "This is a beautiful quiet cottage finished to a high standard with everything you need for a chilled relaxing holiday.Communication with Ray and Julie was great and the pool was an amazing addition to the cottage.The location is perfect for walking Dovedale 30 mins, Tissington trail 20 mins and the Old Dog Pub which was very welcoming 10 minutes walk.Cannot fault the whole package and would not hesitate to revisit in the future."

Three local pubs but didn’t serve the food and unfortunately the fish and chip shot is closed until early January so we had to buy some food from the CooP. Parking is tricky unless you have a really small car but we’ve managed to park not far from the property and we could walk to places locally. "Good location for Sheffield although the area is a bit drab. Parking was more difficult than we expected. The apartment does not have its own parking, it's street parking any mostly permit holder only with literally a few spare free spaces so it's luck if you get one. The apartment block is nicely decorated and we had room 1 which was a studio. Had every thing you needed including dishwasher & washing machine and detergents for both (neither of which we used) but no shower gel in bathroom....

"We had a wonderful stay at corner cottage and would definitely return! The cottage is lovely and cosy, full of everything you need, and has a wonderful picturesque location with two fantastic pubs and a village shop. Speaking with the owner ahead of our arrival, he provided us with a wealth of info about the cottage, as well as the local area and places to visit. I love that there are lots of bedrooms that we can use for different purposes. If you use the floor heating in the dining kitchen in addition to the main heating, you can stay warm.
