"Very unusual hotel stay. What started as a two-day stay for a family wedding extended two additional days waiting for Hurricane Helene to get through and to locate a passable route out of the area. The entire hotel staff performed impeccably under tremendous pressure yet remained calm and reassuring to the guests. "We traveled to visit from friends in Etowah just after Hurricane Helene. The host were in communication with me about conditions and we were so happy things were pretty”back to normal” by the time we arrived 10 days after the area was hit hard. He even put us in touch with somebody who could supply our friends with with wood. We had a great stay! Also the location was close to the charming town of Brevard."
