"The room was large and generally comfortable but smelled stale - as if it had been closed up for a while. The bed was two singles zipped together and so very uncomfortable in the middle. The shower head was so disgusting we didn't have a shower and the tiles were cracked and coming away from the wall. The towels smelled musty and the toiletbrush was awful! One of the windows in the bedroom had swollen and so couldn't be closed properly."

"A group of my family numbering 12 adults 7 children and 2 dogs spent a long weekend celebrating a 76th birthday, sharing two properties, Mews Hill and Criddlestyle Cottage. We all had a fantastic time and the facilitites were all exactly as described and made for a brilliant time together. Thanks!"

"A good family sized house in a good location. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, the only downside was a very small oven which was not really big enough when cooking for 11. A very enjoyable weekend, even the cold and wet weather could not spoil it."

Well situated right on The New Forest & close to the many lovely villages in the area. The coast was half hour away & we found plenty of lovely places to eat, the chippy in Fordingbridge was a winner as was The George on the river.
