"Great location to use as a base for riding at Maydena Bike Park. Cottage had all me and the two boys needed. Great communication from the host who was very happy to help us. Will definitely stay there again. "

"This was a lovely farm stay surrounded by sheep and countryside. Don’t expect to be close to any dining options but expect to be fully relaxed at the end of your stay. Make sure you give the bullock a slice of bread and walk to the lake. "

"This was a great stay between Strahan and Hobart and close to the Mt Field National Park, where we did Russell and Horseshoe falls. The accomodation was clean and very comfortable. It was great to look over the fields where the alpacas lived to the mountains. The accommodation had everything we needed to be comfortable and we were instructed on what was available food wise before we came, as there are not many options once you get to Maydena. Highly recommend this place to stay."

"Amazing, we stayed 2 nights. Loved the cabin, especially the outdoor bath. Had a few furry friends come visit too. Fire place kept us warm as it was a bit chilly at night. Only thing I would recommend is to have 2 sets of towels as it was a bit hard to get them dry after use. "

"Lovely property just outside of Huonville and great base to explore entire southern area. The house is very comfortable and clean. Alpacas and small wallabies abound. Split system aircon would be great summer/winter but fire kept us warm and provided a lovely atmosphere."

"Great spot at the door step to Mt Feild. Very few places this close to Tasmanian wilderness at your front door with all the comforts of home. Excellent cafe called Fika nearby at Maydena. Worth the short drive for morning or afternoon tea or a great lunch. Highly recommend."
