"Second time staying here as my children (and I) absolutely love it. This is a charming property and the historical elements are so interesting. The foyer is fascinating for children with the old fashioned phone and grand piano. Excellent location, easy walking distance to the park, lakefront and many restaurants. Very good breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable and pool is lovely. "

"Firstly, they are clearly doing some serious renovating, so on the face of it the place can look a little untidy and tired. However, the sections they have renovated are at a very high standard and were very impressive. Looks like this will be an excellent place once all the work is done."

"We loved the Spa pool. The guy showed us to the room and I should of got him to turn the TV on the channels. This happens in every motel we go to - or is it just us that not use to complicated technology....lol. We couldn't get the TV to work, but that was "okay" as we were tired and slept. I did ring 0 but was out of hours and left a message—never mind. All in all, we loved the room - spa room could do with abit of a wash down though."

"Service was amazing! Staff were so helpful and accommodating and she always had a smile on her face. Awesome value for money! The only downsides I would say is we had someone below us that didn’t follow the time rules of the pool & their hot tub & were outside very loud with their children waking us up, I don’t find fault with the staff but it would be great if the time rules were enforced. And the stairs up stairs was a bit scary walking up in the middle of the rain because it’s so slippery....

"Really liked the staff they were cheerful and really helpful the room was perfect for us and we really struggle with beds waking up with stiff backs but that wasn’t the case at Copthorne Rotorua. Thank you staff and Copthorne."
