"My visit to Shagri-La in June 2025 was my first visit to Fiji & my first resort experience. And it was a delight. As I am sure is the same at every Fiji resort, the staff were lovely, friendly, helpful & hard working. The facilities were great - not state of the art & brand spanking new - but as advertised and equivalent to the rates paid. Highly recommend to stay at adults only end to anyone travelling w/o children given the access to the quiet pool, the reef, & away from the noise & family chaos. Yes, it is a bit more of a walk (or buggy ride) to the restaurants etc but is worth it! Having said that, the rooms were quiet & you couldn’t hear your neighbours unless out on the balcony or if someone walked noisily past your door. The breakfast buffet was fabulous but if you are desperate for a ‘proper’ coffee, not the filtered variety, you will need to show a level of patience. This is not a Melbourne barista cafe but rather operates on Fiji time. Having said that, you are here to relax & enjoy, so what’s the rush?! It didn’t bother me that I was pretty much finished breakfast by the time my coffee arrived each morning, but I could see others were annoyed. Can highly recommend the Indian restaurant, and BBG was also fab & those two had the best service. The Asian restaurant you do need to book early. What’s not well known is that the reef is just out your door. Put on a snorkel & put your head underwater & be amazed by the sea life where the water is knee deep"

"We had an absolutely amazing family stay at the beach house. Slight miscommunication with our rooms but the staff dealt with it professionally and ensured we were comfortable had what we needed. The kids loved the kayaks, snorkelling, table tennis and horse riding. We will definitely be back! Beautiful place, wonderful staff!"

"A pleasant location to lie on a sunbed for a couple of hours staring out at the reef break. Everybody is friendly and remembers names. The hill hike was great. My room was ocean view...decent size and a 45 deg outlook over the pool to the water. Steakhouse was a fave dining spot. Absolutely no hassles and had an enjoyable time. "

"The people were amazing, so helpful. We arranged for our luggage to be collected from our room but this was not done and we were late for the. Bus we had paid for, that is my only complaint in two weeks, also since 3 people were booked into our room there was only ever enough cups, ets for two. There should have been enough of everything for 3. Excellent resort didn’t want to leave."

"Private, peaceful adults only secluded absolute gem of a place- spotlessly clean, amazing pool- handy to have a car as it’s very secluded if you want to visit area, absolutely relaxing stay and can’t wait to go back, vinaka "
