"My husband and i are from welch pineville area. We came home for a union of my niece and her husband. This was perfect for our needs. The bridal party got ready here. The space worked wonderfully. I can see this as a frequently used home for our out of state family for important gatherings. The memories made in WV are always sweeter!"

We had 12 side by sides and 6 were at this house. The only issue was parking. Thankfully with half our party at the cabins at Wilmore Dam, we were able to leave all our trailers and trucks there and just take 1 truck and the side by sides to the house. "Jack's place was perfect for our weekend get away! Plenty of space for all of us and it was nice to have two bathrooms. Plenty of parking- three trucks and 2 trailors. "

"the staff were nice. the room was comfortable. the bathrooms especially the bathtubs were filthy with a couple bugs and spiders. for $115 a night, it should be spotless. the staff was not available at check in and do not give u access to the inside of the hotel during your stay. they accidently locked the door and i didnt know if i was going to get to my room or not. i didnt know if i was going to be able to check in or not due to staff not being there. "

"Solid place to stay. A lot of room for trailers. We had a 28 foot enclosed, a 24 foot enclosed, and 2 20 foot open trailers at once. Plenty of room to maneuver around. House is huge. Water pressure is great. Beds were comfy. Heater will run you out of the house, trust me. 10/10"

Newly Renovated home near the Hatfield-McCoy and Outlaw Trails in Southern WV

THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!

"We traveled 4 hours to stay at this rental only to find out that the place was vacant and locked up tight. There has been no renovation and the host was unresponsive. There wasn't any furniture, no stove, no refridgerator, and there was trash around the place. We had no phone service and no place to stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE, IT IS A SCAM!!!"

Great location

"Central to the trails, nice bathrooms and bedrooms. Parking wasn’t too bad but on the main strip so just know you’re parking around back. We got there when the hurricane came through but still had a great time"

Pleasant stay

"The house was very nice, roomy, and well maintained. The road leading in is narrow (which is expected for mountain roads), but the drive had plenty of parking. We throughly enjoyed watching the deer every morning and evening. Even though the trail head is farther than advertised (13 miles instead of 3 miles), the drive via SxS was very nice. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we hope to see y’all again. "

ATV HOUSE, plenty of parking, seconds to trails. Hatfield McCoy and Outlaw

BEST VRBO EVER

"If you are looking for a place for your family and/or friends to stay this is it!!!! Run, don’t walk, run to checkout and book with Shelby!! The property itself is nice and you have plenty of room for activities. Also a fire pit with wood was a nice surprise bonus! Very quiet area, saw a few neighbors but no one bothered us. The house is the perfect layout for those with a large group, especially ones that will be going to bed at different times. The game room is actual separate from all the main sleeping areas except one. This was so great for my group as we would all go to sleep all throughout the night so no one in the house was bothered by the people still up. The kitchen was the best out of any places I’ve stayed- she had everything you could think of and plenty of it. Would recommend bringing your own cups if you had a pretty big group. Plenty of bathroom space as well. We had so much fun and would 100% stay again. The host, Shelby, was soooo helpful in planning our trip and very responsive. She answered quickly and throughly and felt like a friend by the end of it! The game room had everything you could think of but we did bring an extra fold out table- definitely recommend this for more games or anything involving a liquid. There wasn’t a lot of outside seating but there was some on the porch and around the fire pit so a lawn chair or two would be nice if you like hanging out outside. The views around the property were amazing and it was great drive up!"
