The Neighborhood:
Located in Sydney’s Inner West, Strathfield is a large suburb with excellent transport infrastructure and a vibrant atmosphere. Home to many immigrant communities, this is the place to come for some of Sydney’s best Korean and Chinese food. Away from the station, however, things are much quieter, with Victorian and Edwardian homes lining wide streets.

Easy access to the center coty, jarbour and shopping
Apartment was nice enough and very close to the train station making getting around on public transit very convenient. The apt. above us had very noisy neighbors stomping around until very late. Bathroom is poorly designed with no way to shower and keep the toilet area dry. Plus, very limited hot water for 3 people for showering. No free wifi in the area, so be sure to note all ckeck in info and wifi password before you go to the property.

Great value in a convenient location
This property is great value for money. We were visiting Sydney for 1 week for leisure and work and it met our needs very well. The property was clean and nicely decorated. Beds were comfortable and there are fans and heaters provided in every room. I appreciate the small details like having plenty of coat hangers and laundry powder provided. Being an older building it had a few quirks. It’s a bit strange walking thru the shower to get to the toilet - I’d recommend they reconfigure the shower screen. The location was very convenient; only 3-4 min walk to station and 5 mins to coffee shops and lots of great restaurants.

If you opened up the door and repaired the back deck would be more beneficial for the use of tenants, more privacy than front deck.

The place is nicely decorated and is as the pictures show. What was disappointing are the kitchen facilities: lacking on a few things to make a comfortable stay for 3 people for 9 nights ie - only having 2 teaspoons, no large pot for cooking the largest pot (which is small) has no handle. Only supplying 1 hand soap, 2 sachets of dish washing liquid for a 9 night stay but supplying 3 dish washer sachets even though there is no dishwasher. Attention to these details would have made our stay easier. The place needs a good clean out of cobwebs. The duvets have many stains on them and need a good wash. The managing agents never got back to me regarding queries that I had prior to arrival even after 3 requests. The location is good with good bus connections to Olympic park.

Great location. Close to train station and short stroll to the local cafe for a morning coffee. Very spacious. All major conveniences supplied for our stay. As we like to cook when we are away, we would have liked some additional cookware. The bathroom was a little awkward with the shower in the middle of the bathroom, but we appreciated a mop was close by to clean up easily.
