Summary:
Welcome to my home in the heart of Newtown. Our house is on Wilson st near King st Enmore rd and everything the area has to offer.
Set over 2 levels, the ground floor has the open plan dining and living room area, followed by the kitchen, bathroom and backyard. The Queen master bedrooms' balcony has fairy lights and comfortable seating, the sunsets from here are spectacular. The garden has a bbq, outdoor dining, lounge and plenty of fairy lights. We don't have a tv but have a projector!
The Space:
We have a fully equipped kitchen, with a large fridge and sodastream available to use. We provide nice ground coffee and a grinder for the all important morning coffee. My Marantz Hi-Fi equipment is also available to use with a record player and multiple speakers, I will leave a select choice of records for you to play during your stay if you wish.
We have a washing machine and dryer available in the external laundry which also has a toilet.
There is no TV but we have a projector with trestle and chromecast to watch anything you wish to cast from phone apps alongside a Sonos Play speaker.
The master bedroom has a large built in wardrobe and a Queen bed. The second bedroom has a very comfortable double futon bed, already made along with a desk, monitor and printer you're welcome to use during your stay. There is also a small built in wardrobe in the second bedroom.
There are stairs that are old school and may be steep if you are elderly.
There is a large outdoor area that is full of plants and outdoor lounge and table for seating for 6-8 people comfortably.
We have a travel cot available and high chair for your use also.
There is an NBN internet connection that goes throughout the whole house.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the whole house
The Neighborhood:
Newtown is one of the most vibrant and eclectic suburbs of Sydney and we are literally around the corner from all the action but still on a quiet residential street (Wilson st). Newtown has many cool bars, hip restaurants, lots of boutiques and cafes.
Getting Around:
Trains and buses are the best way to get around from here
Other Things to Note:
Stairs.
It is an old Victorian style terrace, that is full of character such as original power points and light switches so is not a modern cookie cutter house with all the mod cons.
