"We had a lovely stay. Room is basic but fine for what we needed. Beds are comfy but pillows not so much, 2 pillows for each person would be better. Sofa could do with a little clean. Facilities are good, breakfast was good and staff are friendly. Both times we have stayed here we have had to wait for are rooms to be ready, perhaps the hotel need to look to change their 2pm check in time that they state. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely come back to stay again soon. "

"First time in Lanzarote. This apartment is very well appointed, great pool & great location well within walking distance of beach & restaurants. So handy to airport as well. Would highly recommend."

"The staff at the reception desk are friendly and helpful, the pool area and bar was clean and reasonable priced. The door to enter the apartment had a gap between the door and floor and on 3 occasions we had a cockroach! Not sure whether they were coming under the door where the gap was. Reception did help and acted fast when we called them to get the cockroach out. Aircon was great in the bedroom area. Shower could have done with a good clean but other than that the room was fine. "First time staying at Plaza Azul, spotlessly clean, good house keeping services throughout. Apartments are well equipped, everything you need for doing your own food if required. All the staff were amazing & helpful all the way. Good secure safe in the apartment & very cheap price for key rental. "The property is absolutely perfect if you are looking for a quiet retreat away from the more touristy areas of the island, but with a car everywhere is easily accessible. The owners are lovely as are their dogs,esp Momo who came to see us every day. "

"Excellent 5 days as previous year. Entertainment / Activities were generally very good if you’re up for a bit more than just a laze around an excellent pool scene. Breakfast and Dinner were very good with plenty of choice for a little extra. Will be returning for a 3rd time next year."

Good spacious hotel

"After a mix up with other accommodation we had to make an emergency booking on the day. So our experience of the hotel was brief. However it was also a very pleasant one. The service from the staff at check in was spot on and took very little time. The room was surprisingly large and had everything you would need. The bed was comfy and there was a bath as well as a shower which pleased the wife!! Overall we had a short but very pleasant stay, so i would recommend it."
