"We were two families of four staying here, and it was perfect for us! The kitchen is very spacious for cooking our meals, and lots of space to hangout. You cannot beat the views either! Host sent excellent check-in/check-out instructions and was very response with our questions. Lots games too that we loved playing! The only down fall was the driveway. It’s very narrow and steep. Could be difficult to get a car in and out of if there is a lot of snow/ice. There is a plow service that came which was of very little help because our cars were in the driveway, but there are shovels that we used and logs to chock the cars. Overall, a fantastic place!"

"The cottage inn was cozy and clean. Everything we needed was provided. The breakfast included each morning was fresh made and delicious. It’s in close proximity to the beach and several great restaurants. 16 min drive to skiing!"

"We booked a last minute room here as we were snowboarding at Palisades. 15 mins away with no traffic (about 25 in the traffic at 4-5pm). The room had a bedroom with a king bed and a sofa in the main room. It just fit my family of 5, but with 2 teens on the sofa pullout and my 9yo daughter in the king bed with us. Overall, it functioned well enough for a great price. It's next door to Safeway, CVS, and many food options, which was convenient when it snowed heavily and didn't want to drive. The Mountain slice pizza (2 minute walk) was 5 star delicious! And the lake was 5 mins walk away with other fancy restaurants nearby. All in all, the inn was a great find! The front office staff Taylor did a great job checking us in (early!) and helped us with everything we needed. She deserves 5 stars! "

"I’ll echo what others say, the pictures don’t quite do it justice. It really is a great cabin and the location is so hard to beat.Michael is a fantastic host, super friendly and easy to communicate with. We had 2 dogs, 4 kids including a 11 month old and 5 adults and the layout allows for nooks and hangout spots for kids and adults to hang together or get some privacy. The loft was perfect for the kids and the full bathroom.up there was clutch when getting adults and kids ready in the morning. Location wise you are right in Tahoe city, 20 min to palisades and Homewood or 40 for Northstar.Hell you can even get to Incline is about 30 min.Also, kitchen is massive and tons of supplies, we had a great homecooked meal on our last night.We would stay again and it’s a great location for summer too. What a gem of a spot!"
