"The cabin is great and we would definitely recommend. The pros: spacious, clean, great deck with hot tub that has easy top lift, surrounded by pines, great view of golf course, fun games in loft, nice beds upstairs. The cons: microwave did not work, the deck was covered thick with pine needles that we had to sweep, the fire pit did not have a cover but we found it later on the side of the house so we put it on the fire pit, the downstairs bed is uncomfortable and noisy. "This was a very comfortable place to spend a few days in a beautiful setting. Weather was warmer than expected, but the house had numerous fans and the temperature dropped quickly at sunset. My wife and I, along with our four adult children and two young grandchildren were all relaxed and happy. Our niece’s wedding was close by, so the location could not have been better. Our host was very quick to reply to any questions. "

"What a great house! Larger/nicer than it looks in photos and super clean. It was very comfortable and we had two families with 5 kids total. Minutes away from skiing at Tahoe Donner. Bring your own board games, pantry staples, and throw blankets. It was not well stocked, otherwise highly recommended."

"The cabin was in a great location. It was well stocked with all these essentials and was very comfortable. The king-size bed in the master was extremely comfortable! The barbecue worked perfectly. I would recommend this house to my friends."

"We loved this stay! The furnishings are comfortable and luxe, especially the bathrooms and the big comfy couch. The view of the woods is striking, and we especially enjoyed watching the sun come up over the mountain in the morning while we drank our coffee. It was conveniently located to Donner Lake, Truckee, and West Shore, although that also meant we could hear road news on 89. We’d come back again, and thank the host for their excellent communication and amenities!"

"The location was great. The property was in a very good condition and was clean. There were a few spots in the kitchen that needed more attention. The surrounding area was quiet and there was a golf course across the street that was great for walking. The pool area was a bit further that was not easy to walk to with kids since you need to walk by the road. Our biggest concern were the steps up to the loft inside the property. They were very steep and kind of hard to climb up and down. Overall,...

"We had a great stay! The house is spacious, we had two toddlers and has all the amenities needed for a nice long weekend. Nice large deck that was covered in snow and a perfect play area for the kids. Shuttle was easy to use and super convenient. We would love to go back!"
