"I really enjoyed my stay at the Novotel! We were hesitating between a resort and staying right in Kuta, but I am glad we chose the resort. It gave us a nice and quiet place to hang out that was a needed contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city. The staff were very helpful and nice! Huge shout out to: Leha, Erna, Ong, Sam (who gave the market tour), Rich man, and Ariana! I miss you guys! I would highly recommend!"

We had a 2 bedroom villa and just a couple things we didn’t like such as the 2nd bedroom is a separate entrance from the main unit, you have to walk outside past the pool to enter the bedroom (not ideal for kids as it’s nice to have rooms together and accessible from same living area). "It's very nice there. The resort and the villas are very clean, as well as the private pool. The restaurant meals are extraordinary delicious! The location is good if you like it quiet. For us it was sometimes a bit annoying to always need a scooter to the supermarkert or to Kuta because around the resort there are basically no shops or restaurants. But all in all we had a beautiful time with a good quality of service."

"Not what it used to be !! We stayed at this place after having such a lovely experience previously. However, this stay was very disappointing. We opted for upsell to the 5 BR villa on check-in which looked lovely in the pictures, but were stuck with a villa that stunk of sewerage the whole time! "Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend This hotel was by far the worst of the five we stayed at during our time in Bali. We booked a deluxe pool room, but instead of a nice pool view, we were stuck looking at an unused, dirty pool. While they did have another pool that was in better condition, it felt frustrating to have been placed in a room overlooking such an unappealing sight. There were multiple issues throughout our stay. Our check-in was delayed by 30 minutes, and the room quality was very basic, with a run-down bathroom that was far from acceptable. For a hotel with high reviews, the poor room and bathroom conditions were shocking. The service was equally disappointing. We ordered food and drinks, but the drinks were forgotten, and when I raised this, there was no follow-up. The assistant initially offered to waive our lunch bill as an apology for the issues, but later changed it to drinks only. At checkout, I was surprised to see that I was still being charged for the drinks, and it took them another 5 minutes to sort it out after I questioned the bill. To add to the confusion, I was told one price for a taxi to the airport, but when we checked out, the hotel charged me a lower price. I questioned this, and they insisted it was correct. However, during the ride to the airport, the driver received a phone call saying we had underpaid. This was very frustrating, especially since the confusion was entirely on the hotel's end. Overall, the service was poor"

No water?

"No running water on the two night we stayed there. Couldn’t shower, couldn’t even use the toilet. And when we asked, we were told that they were out of water and that was it. Nothing offered to at least flush the toilet or have a little bit of water. On a good side, breakfast was good."
