A heartfelt thank you to Pina, who welcomed us with such warmth and grace. Her attention to detail and personal touches made our stay feel incredibly special. Pina’s genuine care and energy elevated our entire experience, and it’s safe to say she’s the heart of the hospitality at Lux*. Another standout was Fadna at the Lux* Café. Her Zanzibar Iced Coffee is a must-try—absolutely divine and the perfect reflection of the local flavors. Fadna’s passion for her craft shines through in every sip and interaction, making each visit to the café a delightful experience. Lux* Hotel Zanzibar provided not just a place to stay but a collection of unforgettable memories. The incredible staff, especially Pina and Fadna, turned our vacation into something truly magical. This was, without a doubt, the most memorable hotel visit of my life, and I can’t recommend Lux* Zanzibar enough. If you’re lucky enough to stay here, be sure to seek out Pina and Fadna—they will make your visit unforgettable! "

"We had an unforgettable stay at The Residence and can’t wait to return—especially our three kids, who are already asking when we’ll be back! The hotel’s beautiful gardens were a highlight; we enjoyed walking through them every day instead of using golf carts. The staff were always friendly and eager to help, making us feel right at home. The two restaurants offered excellent food with daily themed menus and live performances, ensuring a fresh and enjoyable dining experience. The complimentary watersport activities were fantastic, with the boat house crew leading fun and informative sessions. Our beach-facing luxury villa was spacious, well-decorated, and offered great privacy, especially with its private pool although the kids also enjoyed swimming and playing with other kids in the main overflow pool. The monkeys occasionally made an appearance around the villa but kept their distance, adding a fun touch. The beach, while a bit seaweedy at low tide, was perfect after 1 pm. The tour guides were professional and made exploring the area a breeze. Overall, we had a fantastic time and look forward to returning soon!"

"I’m so happy I decided to spend my 30th Birthday here!! Everyone was so nice and showed great hospitality! Irene the front desk staff was so sweet and accommodating. The food at the main restaurant was pretty good and I didn’t even bother trying out the other two restaurants. I will definitely be returning!!"

"What an incredible holiday! The staff really make this place and are always so friendly and welcoming. We had the most amazing upgrade from the one of the female managers at reception. Thank you so much. This made what was already going to be a wonderful holiday into something unforgettable. I can not recommend this place more highly! The food variety is great and you can book excursions through a tour provider at the hotel. Everything was seamless and easy to navigate. Also a very special thank you to Neema who cleaned our room everyday to perfection! "
