"Beautiful modern chalet. Master bedroom spectacular. Great views , well equipped, chalet could not have been better. However, the chalet is 1.5 km from Les Arcs 1600 so if you do not have a car you have to be prepared for a brisk walk in the morning for fresh bread and croissants.We were able to ski in and ski out, but we were fortunate because there was 50 cm of fresh snow early in the week. Otherwise it would not have been possible as you have to ski down to the mid station of the funicular...

L’agencement sur 2 niveaux permet également de bien séparer les espaces nuit et jour, pour plus de confort et de tranquillité. Le départ ski aux pieds n’est qu’à quelques dizaines de mètres, une localisation idéale. "

"The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"Chalet Pierra Menta is a beautiful chalet in a great location. We were a party of 14 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of space for us all. The rooms were comfortable and the chalet very well equipped with the ground floor ski/boot room, sauna and self catering equipment. "The Chalet is just below a lift into Montalbert. It is wonderfully appointed; the ground floor has a double bedroom with an ensuite and a bunk room with a huge luxury shower room. The first floor has an open plan kitchen, lounge with a large table, balcony and the best alpine views. We loved sharing meals and chores here. "Une semaine très simpa en famille. Dommage que la neige n'arrivait pas jusqu'au pied du chalet, un peu de marche le matin pour se mettre en jambe mais rien d'insurmontable!!! Nous avions également eu l'autorisation d'avoir nos deux chiens ce qui est un atout majeur! Et pour le coup c'était le paradis des chiens au niveau des exterieurs du chalet! JE recommande fortement ce chalet ou l'accueil et la communication ont été au top!"

"We had an excellent stay at the chalet, which is perfectly placed for the slopes and not far form the town of Les Coches.The facilities in the chalet were great.Worth noting that there is only one oven, which if you pack the chalet with 15 people, as we did, then cooking takes a bit of time management, but otherwise, fantastic chalet and would happily return!"
