"Chalet Pierra Menta is a beautiful chalet in a great location. We were a party of 14 adults and 1 child and there was plenty of space for us all. The rooms were comfortable and the chalet very well equipped with the ground floor ski/boot room, sauna and self catering equipment. "The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."

"We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...
