"--- A Serene Escape by the Lake – Almost Perfect! We had a truly wonderful stay at this charming lake house! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by peaceful views, fresh air, and the soothing sounds of nature. The location is absolutely ideal—nestled right by the water with easy access to a sandy swimming beach, fishing kayaking, morning coffee on the deck, and sunset strolls. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down and savor every moment.The house itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe with thoughtful touches throughout. The living spaces are comfortable and well-kept, and the overall layout makes it easy to relax and feel at home. We especially loved the large windows that let in natural light and offered stunning views of the lake.That said, a few small updates could make this gem truly shine. The bedding could use a refresh—perhaps some newer linens and pillows to match the comfort of the rest of the home. And while the kitchen is functional, a few upgrades in utensils and cookware would go a long way for guests who enjoy cooking in. Nothing major, just a little fine-tuning to match the quality of the rest of the experience.Overall, this lake house is a lovely retreat that we’d happily return to. "This was a great place for our family vacation with so many fun things to do. We brought our own kayaks and between the water and views, it was a huge hit. Plenty of room for gathering and privacy too - the backyard was so fun for the kids as it was secure and great on the grass for soccer. We felt welcomed and cozy with the huge couch and big fluffy pillows to curl up on for movies and games. We have no pics to post at this time but got amazing ones of the sunset. Thank you for such a fun place to make family memories."

"I stayed here for two weeks and the house was amazing. It’s on 4 acres and accessed by well maintained dirt roads. I wanted a place that was low light pollution so I could look up and actually see stars ant night and this house truly delivered. You can even see the Milky Way clearly! The house had everything you’d need for a comfortable stay and was well maintained and clean. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The place was very clean. Super comfortable and inviting felt like a welcomed guest. Great outdoor sitting areas. We enjoyed the outdoor space to grill, visit and play corn hole, large kitchen table to eat and play card games. Huge TV and nice sitting area to watch movies. Pet friendly. "

"Me and the wife wanted to get away for the weekend to somewhere quiet and boy this hits the nail on the head. Beautiful property, clean and organized when we arrived and easy instructions on how to leave the house. We feel refreshed and the town of taylor/snowflake were such a treat to visit."
