Mabel’s morning breakfast is a delight with various fruits and jams all coming from the garden. The proximity to central Rotorua is also within a 15 minute drive. This location is highly recommended. Only comment would be on the cleanliness of the bathroom as the shower had water marks and soap scum all over the glass, bath hadn’t been cleaned as there were hairs throughout and the toilet and basin had stains. "Had a one night stay following a trip to Hobbiton movie set. Stayed in chalet Frodo which is only a 10-15 min drive from Hobbiton.The chalet is very clean and well appointed. While quite compact it had everything the two of us required for an overnight stay. We had dinner at Osteria restaurant in the main centre which is only a 3 min drive away. Thoroughly recommend Osteria for quality of food, portion size , atmosphere and price"
