"We’ve stayed in the other property and that seemed to be abit more updated than this one. It advertised as having internet but as property is so remote and thick cottage stone we couldn’t get any internet. Also kitchen area may be needs some updating. All in all had a lovely time. "

We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. "Easy communication and check in, brand new and lovely and clean. Parking, comfy bed and all the things we needed in the kitchen to cook and self cater (apart from tea towels). Exactly what we needed as a place to base ourselves."

The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. It was not clean, the tiles in the bathroom were mouldy, under the furniture were dead woodlouse and other remnants of insects, cobwebs everywhere and the lavatory off the main bedroom was very poorly cleaned. "It was a perfect stay! Our room was spacious and very comfortable and clean. The hotel restaurant was excellent, as we had a quick lunch there in between activities. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were so kind and chatted with us about the area and our trip and gave recommendations when asked. We would definitely book here again if returning to the area. Thank you! "
